I recently attended this Bridgewater clinic and it did not disappoint. I required some fairly detailed dental work. Dr Issa was very professional and his knowledge of dentistry was quite evident with his chair side manor, description of the process  and a completely painless procedure . I'm over the moon happy with this dental practice!! I've only heard great things from patients who go here. Everyone has been awesome! I went in for my 1st checkup on Apr 9/23, both Dr. Hammer & Chantal (I hope that's her name, if not I apologize) very nice & kind. I went for a cleaning on Apr 10/23. New to the area and needed a dentist and Alliance Dental has been a great choice. Office staff is great and very accommodating. Dr. Hammer and her assistant very professional and at the same time friendly and hygienist did a great job of cleaning with minimal discomfort. Dr. Ley

Dr. Ley grew up in Bridgewater and is proud to return to the community she calls home to provide compassionate, patient-centered dental care. She is committed to making every patient feel comfortable while delivering treatment tailored to each individual’s needs.

Dr. Ley earned her Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences, with a minor in Music, from Dalhousie University in 2022. She continued her education at Dalhousie, where she will complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2026. During dental school, she received the Nova Scotia Dental Association Prize for greatest proficiency in dental biomaterials. She also served as class secretary and was actively involved in several dental student societies.

Outside of the office, she enjoys travelling, cooking, and staying active. A classically trained pianist, she has won numerous awards at local music festivals and continues to enjoy music in her free time.

Dr. Ley looks forward to joining the team in Summer 2026.

Dr. Yaser Issa

 Dr. Yaser Issa was born in Syria, but has travelled and worked all over the world. As part of his global journeys, he studied at four different universities in three separate countries, and earned five degrees in dentistry.

If he hadn’t discovered his love of dentistry, he might have found himself a career as a physicist or maybe even a cook (his daughter has lovingly told him that he makes the best, tasty, “unhealthy” food ever). But he’s thrilled that dentistry was the path his life ended up taking.

Dr. Issa is married with three children—one boy and two girls. His children are all involved in music and sports. Travel has always been a passion for Dr. Issa—so much so that he says the airport feels like home. His current dream is to vacation in China. Besides travel, his hobbies include reading, swimming, and fishing.

Dr. Christine Hammer

Dr. Christine loves working in dentistry because it allows for constant learning, the chance to help others, and daily opportunities to blend science with creativity. Her dental interests include oral surgery, restorative, and endodontics.

Originally from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, Dr. Christine conducted research in developmental biology, earning a BSc from Mount Saint Vincent University and an MSc at Saint Mary’s University. She got her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Dalhousie University.

Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
